The next chapter meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at 6:30 PM at Las Vegas Events. This meeting will serve as a wrap=up for the membership drive and a kick-off for the football season. All new members are welcome to attend. The chapter Treasurer, Dave Miller, and his wife have graciously invited all WVU Southern Nevada Alumni Chapter members to join them this Sunday, August 13 to send off these students for the Fall 2006 semester. Please see the flyer for more information on this event.

The next chapter meeting has been scheduled for MONDAY, 07-10-2006, 6:30 PM at Las Vegas Events. The agenda for this meeting will be posted on the meetings page when it is available.

We are proud to announce our inaugural membership drive event. The event will take place Friday, July 21, 2006 at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. WVU Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach Mike Maker has graciously agreed to be our first special guest speaker.

We will be hosting a silent auction and raffle including WVU memorabilia and other specials items.

The menu will consist of a light dinner including tossed and pasta salads, meats and cheeses, fresh bread, cookies, water, iced tea and coffee.

Event admission is $15 in advance or $20 at the door. You may RSVP by emailing membership@nvmountaineers.org and visiting our events page for more information including the address to mail your admission.
