Glad to see all of you at the game watching parties. I’m thrilled with the interest and success of the chapter in such a short time. I’d like to meet this Thursday, 10/26 at 6pm. The main focus of the meeting will be to plan a holiday dinner for the Chapter and consider a road trip to the potential bowl game.

Alert: Meeting Location Change

Mael Glennon, Chapter member, has offered his office as a meeting place because the normal meeting location is not available. I think this will be a better location than Sierra Gold. It is more formal with a board room table.

Therefore, we will meet at 7884 W. Sahara Ave. This is on Sahara between Buffalo and Cimarron. The office is located on the north side of Sahara (right side when travelling west). Look for the big Farmer’s Insurance sign.

The next chapter meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at 6:30 PM at Las Vegas Events. This meeting will serve as a wrap=up for the membership drive and a kick-off for the football season. All new members are welcome to attend. The details for the July 21, 2006 kickoff event are being finalized as this is being written, and details will be posted here when they are available.

The chapter constitution was ratified at the 05-31-2006 chapter meeting and can be found under “Chapter Documents” on the menu to your right.

We are looking for raffle items for the kickoff event. If you have anything you would like to donate please contact Beth Schwartz at raffle@nvmountaineers.org .

Also, in order to ratify the chapter constitution by-laws, we need to start collecting dues at the meeting on May 31. Again, the dues are $20 per person and the check can be made payable to:
