The agenda for the upcoming chapter meeting on May 31 has been posted on the meetings page.

Also, in order to ratify the chapter constitution by-laws, we need to start collecting dues at the meeting on May 31. Again, the dues are $20 per person and the check can be made payable to:

The new events page will contain information pertaining to past and upcoming events. Currently it contains information about the upcoming football season.

The new meetings page will contain information pertaining to past and upcoming chapter meeting, including minutes and any other pertanent information.

The newly elected officers for the chapter are:

Ryan Dunn as President

Tim Keener as Vice-President

Dave Miller as Secretary and Treasurer

The Inaugural meeting for the Southern Nevada chapter of the West Virginia University Alumni Association has been announced.

Date: Tuesday, May 16

Time: 6:30pm

Place: Conference Room at Las Vegas Events

Directions coming east on the 215:

1. Take the Warm Springs exit of the 215.
2. Take an immediate right onto Warm Springs
3. Take an immediate right onto Pollock
4. Take an immediate left into the Wells Fargo parking lot.
5. Located on the first floor in Suite 140.

Directions coming west on the 215:

1. Take the Warm Springs exit of the 215.
2. Take a left onto Warm Springs.
3. Go through the traffic light at Paradise.
4. Turn right onto Pollock.
5. Take an immediate left into the Wells Fargo parking lot.
6. Located on the first floor in Suite 140.

As you exit at Warm Springs there is a Doubltree Hotel right off the exit. Las Vegas Events is across the street from the Doubletree in the Wells Fargo building, suite 140. Signs will be posted on the outside doors as well as the glass entrance.

Purpose of meeting:

• elect officers (President, V.P., Treasurer, Secretary)
• form a steering committee
• creation of a basic chapter constitution
• summarize the short term and long term goals of the chapter
• form a planning committee for a July “Membership Drive” event
• plan specific goals of the July event

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us for a “social” directly after the meeting. The location will be determined at meeting adjournment.
